Dr. Alceste Bonanos, senior researcher at the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing of the National Observatory of Athens, was awarded an ERC Consolidator Grant from the European Commission. The project has a duration of 5 years, a budget of 1.1 million euros and the title is “Episodic Mass Loss in the Most Massive Stars: Key to Understanding the Explosive Early Universe”.
