Iason Tsardanidis received his Bachelor degree in Physics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2016. During the period of 2017-2018, he worked as a research associate at Hellenic Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) on topics related to electric power capacity outlook from renewable energy sources using machine learning. In 2020, he completed his postgraduate studies at “La Sapienza” University in Rome, with a Master degree in Data Science. Since 2020, he has been working as a research associate at the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS) of National Observatory of Athens, focusing on satellite remote sensing and the application of artificial intelligence in agriculture.
