PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Theodora (Dorella) Papadopoulou received her Bachelor degree in Mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in 2011. In 2013, she obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in “Physical Remote Sensing Methods with Specialization in Ocean, Climate, Atmosphere and Spatial Observations’ of the Sorbonne Université, Campus Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI).

A year later she started working at ARGANS Limited as an operator for the Copernicus Sentinel-2 Mission Performance Centre and from 2016 to 2021, she worked as an Earth Observation Specialist and Coordinator of International EO Activities for Disaster Response, including for the International Charter ‘Space and Major Disasters’ and the CEOS WG on Disasters, under the supervision of the European Space Agency (ESA).

Today, she works as a Research Associate and Project Manager at the IAASARS of NOA, in matters related to satellite Earth Observation and space applications.
