Mr. Themistocles Herekakis graduated in 2003 from the Technological Educational Institution of Athens, with a degree in Electronic Engineering. In July 2010 he got an M.Sc. degree in “Advanced Informatics Computing Systems” at the University of Pireaus. He is working for the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing of NOA as a research associate on contract, since August 2004. He has actively participated in many Research Programmes. He is currently working as the IT Manager of the EU funded programme BEYOND �Building a Centre of Excellence for Earth Observation based monitoring of Natural Disasters in south-eastern Europe�.
