Niki Asimakopoulou graduated from high school in 1993 and began her studies at the Cibitanideos Public School of arts and professions, where she trained on engineering and operations of technical instrumentation. Since February 2024 she is working together with the Institute of Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS) of NOA, for the maintenance and support of the PANGEA-ReACT Station in Antikythera, Greece. She supports also the operation of the lidar and sunphotometric systems of ReACT that are operating at the Penteli premises of NOA, i.e. the eVe lidar and the photometers.
