PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Konstantinos Rizos graduated in 2012 from the Physics Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2015, he received his M.Sc. in Environmental Physics and in 2023 he acquired his PhD diploma on the study of the background air pollution using experimental data and mathematical models. Both MSc and PhD studies have been accomplished in the Laboratory of Atmospheric Physics of the Physics Department at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. As a student, he has participated in international Conferences and he has also original publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and scientific conference proceedings. Currently, he is working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS) Institute of the National Observatory of Athens. His main scientific interests lie in the field of aerosol science, and specifically on aerosol optical/physical properties based on the use of satellite and ground-based observations.
