Maria Chira holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, from the Physics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2015) and afterwards she attended a Master program in “Computational Physics” at the same department. Both her Bachelor and Master thesis were relevant to computational cosmology. In 2022, she completed her Ph.D. in Cosmology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and in collaboration with the National Observatory of Athens, with a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). Since January 2023, she is working as a postdoctoral researcher at IAASARS, NOA participating in the project “4MOVEU – Forward-Modeling the Variable Energetic Universe”, led by Antonis Georgakakis and funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research & Innovation (HFRI).
