Nikolaos Stasinos received his Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from the Department of Geography, University of the Aegean in 2017. He further holds a Master’s Degree in Geoinformatics from the School of Rural, Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2021. With more than 5 years experience in the field of Earth Observation and GIS, in Private Sector, he currently works as an associate researcher in the Institute of Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS) of the National Observatory of Athens, focusing on Natural Disasters using Earth Observation data. He is now a PhD Candidate in Geoinformatics and Health Geography at the Department of Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering, University of West Attica.
