PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Konstantinos Bouvis graduated from the Physics department of the University of Patras in 2021 in the field of Theoretical, Computational Physics and Astrophysics. In 2023, he completed the interdepartmental postgraduate program “Physics and Technological Applications” of the School of Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences and the Demokritos research center at the National Technical University of Athens. In his master’s thesis he made a multi wavelength analysis of the planetary nebulae NGC 3132 using data from MUSE at VLT, HST and JWST. It was carried out in collaboration with the IAASARS of the National Observatory of Athens under the supervision of Dr. Stavros Akras. From November 2023, he is a PhD candidate at the Physics department of the University of Patras in collaboration with IAASARS. He participates in the MINOTAUR program of Dr. Stavros Akras, investigating low-ionization structures in planetary nebulae using photoionization codes.
