Graduate Students
Dimitra Kouklaki graduated from the Department of Physics at the faculty of sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) (2019). She obtained her MSc degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineers of the University of West Attica (UniWA) (2022) in the field of Energy and Environmental Developments. Since 2022 she is a PhD candidate at the faculty of Sciences, Department of Geology and Geoenvironment, of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). She has been working as a research fellow at the NKUA, focusing on the atmospheric parameters that affect spectral solar irradiance and solar energy since 2020, and at the Institute of Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS) of the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) since 2023, focusing on the impact of aerosols on solar radiation, based on ground-based and satellite solar radiation measurements and models. She has participated in 2 experimental campaigns, ASPIRE (https://aspire.geol.uoa.gr) and ASKOS (https://askos.space.noa.gr).
