Inaba prize awarded to IAASARS postdoctoral researcher Alexandra Tsekeri
Dr. Alexandra Tsekeri was awarded the Inaba Prize by the International Coordination Group for Laser Atmospheric Studies during the 29th International Laser Radar Conference (ILRC), which took place in China at the end of June 2019. This prize is awarded during each ILRC to an individual under the age of 40 who is judged to have presented the best paper at the ILRC. The paper of Dr. Tsekeri was titled “Polarization lidar for detecting dust orientation and presents a proposal by NOA to develop an original polarization lidar for surveying the atmosphere, in collaboration with the greek company Raymetrics.
