Anastasia Tsontzou holds a Diploma in Rural and Surveying Egineering from the National and Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Geoinformatics at the same University. In May 2018 she joined the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS) of the National Observatory of Athens and since then she has participated in several Earth Observation and Remote Sensing research projects, co-funded by the European Commission. Her research interests are related to remote sensing applications, satellite image processing, geomatics, GIS and land cover mapping.
