Ioanna Mavropoulou graduated from the School of Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences, specializing in Applied Physics, at the National Technical University of Athens. In 2019, she made a career shift, joining the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications, and Remote Sensing at the National Observatory of Athens. With over a decade of prior experience in managerial roles in the private sector, Ioanna now serves as a Project Manager to the NOA-ReACT team.

Her responsibilities include procurement management and management support of the PANGEA Observatory located on Antikythera Island. In addition to her managerial skills, Ioanna is trained in science communication and possesses experience in implementing experimental campaigns.
