PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Irene Kalesi completed her undergraduate studies at the Department of English Language and Literature of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens during the period 2006–2010. In 2014–2015, she completed her postgraduate studies in Comparative Arts and Media Studies in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

With extensive experience in strategic communication, content marketing, and the dissemination of research project results, she specialises in content creation, digital channel management, and the design of communication and dissemination strategies for innovation and technology-driven projects.

Her professional journey includes collaborations with startups and organisations in the fields of technology, science, entrepreneurship, and research, both in Greece and abroad, contributing to the communication of complex scientific and technological topics in a clear and accessible way. In the summer of 2026, she joined the Operational Unit “BEYOND Centre of EO Research & Satellite Remote Sensing” of IAASARS/NOA, as a Communication & Dissemination Specialist, focusing on the communication management of projects related to Earth Observation, climate change, and natural disaster management.
