Jason Ioakim is a graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from the Department of Automation Engineering. In 2022, he joined the DevOps team of the Operational Team Beyond EO Center for the National Observatory of Athens. This team specialises in process automation, the use of Haproxy for load balancing, security (SecOps), and service maintenance. Two of the team’s main projects are the European research projects titled ‘Copernicus Sentinel Hubs’ and ‘Copernicus Relay Data Hub,’ where the team is responsible for the proper and secure operation of these services.
