Dimitris Filippas received his diploma in Rural and Surveying Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), in 2013 and his M.Sc. in Information and Communications Technologies at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2017. Starting at 2014 he worked for three years as a GIS and Geoinformatics Analyst. From April 2018 he is working as a research specialist at the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing of National Observatory of Athens on the topics of collecting and processing data and developping pilot actions for the research program EOPEN.
