PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Vasileia Aspasia Masoura obtained her B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Ioannina in 2010 and her M.Sc. in Advanced Studies in Physics (Theoretical Physics and Cosmology) from the Hellenic Open University in 2016. The subject of her Master Thesis was “Newton’s gravitational inverse square Law in the presence of Extra Dimensions”. Since 2016 she is a PhD candidate at the National Observatory of Athens in collaboration with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

RESEARCH
INTERESTS

Her research interests include: the connection between Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) and the host galaxy Star Formation Rate, Machine Learning Techniques, Spectral Energy Distribution (SED) fitting.
