Irini-Maria Vrettou is an environmental researcher who studied Geology and Geoenvironment at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and later completed an MSc in Environmental Chemistry, Technology and Management. Her research experience includes atmospheric aerosols, particulate matter, Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), Brown Carbon (BrC), air quality and environmental health through European and national research projects.

She is currently a member of the ReACT team, working within the C3S National Collaboration Programme (NCP) in Greece on climate services, climate-data applications, educational resources and data-driven climate communication using Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) data and tools.
