PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Evangelos is a PhD candidate in Astrophysics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, doing his research at the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications & Remote Sensing, at the National Observatory of Athens under the supervision of Dr. M. Xilouris. He studied for his MSc at the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen under the supervision of Prof. G. Magdis and did his master thesis project in collaboration with Prof. V. Charmandaris at the National Observatory of Athens, receiving his MSc degree in 2018. He received his Degree in Physics at the University of Ioannina in 2016 working under the supervision of prof. T. Kosmas.

RESEARCH
INTERESTS

Galaxy evolution through photometry and spectroscopy of star-forming dusty galaxies at a wide range of redshifts and cosmic epochs. Star Formation Rate (SFR), Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) activity, young and old Stellar Emission, Dust heating.
