Angelos Georgakis received his degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, in 2021, when he did his internship at the IERSD Institute of the National Observatory of Athens. From 2021-2022 he worked in the private sector, in the Linux systems administration and also in the development of computer vision and object detection algorithms. Since 2022 he has been working on Horizon2020 research projects on data analysis and value forecasting and anomaly detection techniques using machine learning models. At the same time, he continues his postgraduate studies at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens on space applications and services (STAR). Since 2024, he has been an associate researcher at the IAASARS institute of the NOA, on issues related to the diffusion and modeling of solar radiation.
