On May 6, Emmy Paraskeva recently completed her PhD at the Department of Physics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in collaboration with the National Observatory of Athens, under the supervision of Dr. Bonanos. The subject of her thesis was “Characterizing the properties of supernova progenitors and their circumstellar environments”. Emmy will be starting a Postdoctoral Scholar position at the University of California, Davis on June 1st.
