Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in Remote Sensing. The project aims in computing and mapping of parameters related to forest biomass from satellite data for the accurate mapping and monitoring of natural ecosystems using satellite data. The duration of the position will be 11 months. Applicants with previous experience in image and signal processing in natural ecosystems are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate is expected to be highly motivated and will work under the supervision of Dr. O. Sykioti at the Institute of Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS) of the National Observatory of Athens.
