Dimitrios Pervolarakis holds an M.Eng. in Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences from the National Technical University of Athens (2024). He currently works as a Machine Learning and Satellite Image Processing Engineer at the National Observatory of Athens.
His professional activity focuses on the design and development of scalable software systems for Earth Observation and data management. He specializes in building processing pipelines for the production of satellite products, ensuring high precision and compliance with rigorous specifications. Furthermore, he is actively involved in developing and training deep learning models for remote sensing applications. Additionally, he designs web applications and Natural Language Processing (NLP) workflows, leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to facilitate the organization and visualization of scientific archives.
