Marina Papathanasiou got her bachelor degree on Physics, specialized in Astronomy, from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2015. She continued with her master studies at the Technical University of Denmark, DTU, on Earth and Space Physics and Engineering, specialised on Space Research. On 2020, she started working at DeiC, the Danish e-Infrasturcture Cooperation, as a Scientific Application Engineer diving into research and data management with focus on tangible e-infrastructure, using open source technologies. From September 2024, she is a member of the Operational Unit “BEYOND Centre of EO Research & Satellite Remote Sensing”, working on sentinel-hubs and helping on the e-infrastructure for all the center’s services.
