Ioannis Kontogiorgakis received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Crete in 2022. From 2021 to 2022, he worked as a Research Fellow at the DiSCs lab of FORTH, focusing on graph embedding methods and machine learning. In 2023, he completed his Master’s studies at the Technical University of Crete, specializing in Machine Learning and Data Science. From 2022 to 2023, he worked as a Research Fellow at the Telecommunication Systems Institute in Chania, contributing to European projects on artificial intelligence and secure communication. Since 2024, Ioannis has been working at the Operational Unit “BEYOND Centre of EO Research & Satellite Remote Sensing” of the National Observatory of Athens, with a focus on the combination of remote sensing data with artificial intelligence for applications in the agricultural sector.
