Elina (Evangelia) Kleisioti currently works as a Project Manager and Researcher at the Operational Unit “BEYOND Centre for EO Research and Satellite Remote Sensing” of IAASARS/National Observatory of Athens, focusing on Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) activities. She holds a PhD in Astronomy and has research experience at Leiden Observatory and TU Delft, where she worked on modelling of the internal structure and orbital evolution of natural satellites, as well as on the study of their detectability. Her work has resulted in publications in international peer-reviewed journals. In the past, she was involved in the analysis of scientific data related to ESA’s Rosetta mission, developing computational tools for data processing and interpretation. She holds an MSc in Space Science and Engineering from University College London and a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.

Research interests: orbital evolution, space surveillance and tracking (SST), satellites and moons, tidal interactions.
