PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Elias Koulouridis received his BSc in Physics in 2003, his MSc in Theoretical and Computational Physics and Astrophysics in 2005, and his PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Patras in 2009. He subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics of the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) until 2015.

In 2011, he was awarded a fellowship by the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), and from 2012 to 2015, he held a fellowship under the Greek national program for the support of postdoctoral researchers. Between 2015 and 2019, he was a senior postdoctoral researcher at the Département d’Astrophysique of CEA/Saclay in France.

Since 2019, he has been working as a Researcher at IAASARS/NOA. Starting in 2025, he also serves as an external collaborator at the Astrophysics Department of CEA/Saclay, where he works with data from the Euclid space telescope.
