Dr. Christos received a B.Sc. in Physics from the Department of Physics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in 1999. In 2002 he received an M.Sc. degree in Astrophysics, Astronomy and Mechanics from the same Department, and in 2007 he was awarded a Ph.D. from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. From 1997 to 2000 he was with the Nonlinear Dynamical Systems Analysis Group at NKUA, and in 2003 he joined the Plasma Astrophysics Group at AUTH, where he remained until 2014. In 2008 he joined the Electro-optics and Electromagnetic Applications Lab at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), where he is currently a Research Associate in the programme of Controlled Thermonuclear Fusion. In 2014 he joined the Institute of Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS) of the National Observatory of Athens (NOA), where he is currently working as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the programme KRIPIS/PROTEAS: Advanced Space Applications in the Exploration of the Universe, Space and Earth.
