Haris Tzerefos graduated from the Physics department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in 2016, having chosen the Particle Physics specialisation. Afterwards, he completed the graduate programme “MSc in Theoretical Physics” from the University of Edinburgh in 2017. After finishing his military obligations, he enrolled in the PhD programme at NKUA under the supervision of Senior Researcher Emmanuel Saridakis in November 2020, working in the area of Modified Gravity and Cosmology.

His research interests focus on gravitational theories, cosmology, gravitational waves, quantum field theory in curved spacetime.
