Ioanna Tsikoudi studied Physics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She obtained the Diploma of Postgraduate Studies (MSc) degree in the field of “Environmental Physics”, from the same Department in 2019. The subject of her PhD is studying the Boundary Layer dynamics with radiosonde and Lidar data. Moreover, she uses cloud radar measurements and simulations to investigate the Raindrop Size Distribution and the Secondary ice production in clouds.
- PollyXT Raman Lidar, Halo Wind Doppler Lidar and radiosonde data analysis.
- Boundary Layer physics, especially in coastal areas and areas with complex topography, in combination with aerosols’ presence.
- Raindrop Size Distribution and Secondary Ice production in clouds, using 94GHz cloud radar data.
