PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Athanasia-Maria Tompolidi was born in 1992 in Athens, Greece. In 2015 she received her B.Sc. degree from the Department of Geology & Geoenvironment of National Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). In 2017, she received her M.Sc. degree of ‘’Applied Geography and Spatial Planning’’ (Stream: Geoinformatics) from the Department of Geography of Harokopio University of Athens (HUA). From March 2018, she is a PhD Candidate in HUA and a Research Fellow in the Institute of Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing of National Observatory of Athens, on mineral mapping with the application of machine learning techniques on multispectral and hyperspectral data.
