Evelin Francis is a Marie Curie Doctoral Researcher within the Dust-DN Project, jointly hosted by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the National Observatory of Athens. Her doctoral research, “Ice Nucleating Dust Particle Concentration Profiling and Effects on Ice Crystal Formation”
She holds a Master’s degree in Meteorology from the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), India. After completing her master’s studies, she worked as a Research Scientist at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), where she specialized in the operation and analysis of C-band polarimetric Doppler weather radar data.
INTERESTS
Cloud physics, atmospheric dust and its impacts on weather and climate, aerosol–cloud interactions, cloud and dust modeling.
