Dimitris Kyriakopoulos received his BSc from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2023, and completed his MSc in Data Science and Information Technologies at the same institution in 2025. He began his professional career as an SQL Developer at Edenred and subsequently worked as a Software Developer at a technology startup in the field of algorithmic marketing. From 2024 to 2026 he worked as a Research Engineer at the Athena Research Center, focusing on the development of interpretable and trustworthy machine learning systems. Since May 2026 he has been a member of the Operational Unit “BEYOND Centre of EO Research & Satellite Remote Sensing” of IAASARS/NOA, where he works as a Data Scientist, combining remote sensing data and artificial intelligence for public health applications.
