Graduate Students
Gerasimos Kouniatalis graduated from the Department of Mathematics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in Theoretical Mathematics. He subsequently continued his studies at the Department of Physics of the same University, where he completed the Master’s Programme in Nuclear Physics and Elementary Particle Physics with distinction. He is currently a PhD candidate at the National Observatory of Athens and the National Technical University of Athens, conducting research in gravity and cosmology under the supervision of IAASARS Research Director Emmanuel N. Saridakis.
His work includes publications in international scientific journals in the fields of gravity, cosmological inflation, gravitational waves, and quantum cosmology.
INTERESTS
His research interests focus on quantum cosmology, inflation, gravitational waves, and black hole physics. He is particularly interested in the connection between fundamental theories of gravity and observable cosmological phenomena.
