NATIONAL OBSERVATORY OF ATHENS 
The educational program RADIIO (Radio Astronomy for Development, Intercultural Innovation, and Outreach) is an international initiative that connects schools in Greece, Pakistan, and China through the fascinating field of radio astronomy. This innovative program, designed for students aged 12–17 and their teachers, uses science as a universal language to promote peace, intercultural cooperation, and technological education. Funded by the Office of Astronomy for Development (OAD) of the International Astronomical Union (IAU), the program began in March 2025 and will run throughout the year.

Main Pillars:
- Online Astronomy Webinars: Interactive sessions on astronomy, radio astronomy, and data analysis tools (e.g., Jupyter Notebook).
- Participation in Citizen Science Programs: Involvement in the global citizen science initiative Radio Galaxy Zoo EMU.
- Learning Through Hands-On Experience: Building and operating a radio telescope to observe our galaxy.
- Intercultural Exchange: Presenting findings at an international online symposium.
