Angeliki Efstathiou graduated from the Department of Geology & Geoenvirnoment of the Kapodistrian University of Athens (UoA) in 2008 and in 2011 completed her postgraduate studies in Applied Environmental Geology in the Kapodistrian University of Athens. Since 2012 she is a PhD candidate at the Department of Geophysics & Geothermy (UoA). She joined the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS) in 2017 as a research assistant in “Trigger Buffers in inondaTion Events – TRIBUTE” research programme. Before that, she worked for two years as an early stage researcher at the Technical Institute of Crete in the research programme “SEISMO FEAR HELLARC – THALES” and as an assistant project manager at the Excellence Research Program of the National Observatory of Athens titled “ARISTOTELIS – Environment, Space and Geodynamics 2015-2017.
