Angel Ruiz obtained his B.D. in Physics from Complutense University of Madrid in 2004 and his Ph.D. in Astrophysics from the University of Cantabria in 2010. He has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Astronomical Observatory of Brera (OAB, Italy), the Inter-University Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA, India) and the Institute of Physics of Cantabria (IFCA, Spain). He is working at the IAASARS since March 2017.

  Research Interests 

I work in Extragalactic Astronomy, with a focus on AGNs and the coevolution of supermassive black holes and galaxy formation. I use a multiwalength approach to my research, with a particular interest in the synergies between X-rays and infrared observations.
