NATIONAL OBSERVATORY OF ATHENS The Gravity and Cosmology Group of IAASARS is pleased to welcome its new Postdoctoral Researcher, Mr. Nikolaos Karnesis, who was successfully evaluated under the “4th Call for Research Projects of EL.ID.E.K. for the Support of Postdoctoral Researchers.”
Dr. Karnesis will work on the study of galaxies through gravitational radiation, a completely new research field that enables us to investigate the formation and evolution of galaxies, as well as the existence of exotic objects, through gravitational waves. Dr. Karnesis will collaborate with Research Director Manos Saridakis and with the President of the National Observatory of Athens, Spyros Basilakos.
