• Exploring the nature and the composition of the diffuse X-ray Background Radiation.
• Constraining the fraction of heavily obscured AGN by combining X-ray and infrared wavelengths.
• Testing models of the formation and evolution of super-massive black holes using as diagnostic the properties of galaxies that host AGN.
