PRESS RELEASE with the first results from the Aristarchos telescope:

"New Greek observatory sheds light on old star"

The first paper using data from the 2.3m Aristarchos telescope has been accepted for publication in MNRAS: "The expansion proper motions of the extraordinary giant lobes of the planetary nebula KjPn 8 revisited", Boumis & Meaburn 2013, MNRAS, in press.

Observations have resumed as usual, weather permitting.

For technical reasons the MES-AT spectrometer and the VEC camera are not available at the moment.
